O single We die everyday é o primeiro lançamento de material inédito desde o EP Whatever you say is a lie (so fucking romantic) e isso quer dizer uns doze anos.

Dessa sessão vem o single We die everyday.

The single We die everyday is the first release of new material since the EP Whatever you say is a lie (so fucking romantic) and that means about twelve years.

Between 2000 and 2004 Magic Crayon participated in compilations on CD and cassette in Brazil and abroad, along with bands like Cannanes and Fellini; released two CDr EPs with the help of Slag recs; and made shows in Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Goiania, Curitiba and Porto Alegre.

Then three band members decided to live abroad and the band went on hiatus.

In 2010 the label O Bosque/Woodland was reactivated and the two EPs were released digitally with the inclusion of bonus tracks (new songs that had been recorded between 2001 and 2004 for the planned first full-length album that never ended up being released).

In 2011 they reunited in Sao Paulo for about four shows and to record new material.

In 2013 they opened all four shows of Beach Fossils' Brazilian tour.

Now in 2015 Magic Crayon was invited by Converse Rubber Tracks to go to a professional studio, where they recorded four brand new songs in April.

The single We die everyday comes from this session.

It was recorded with the help of former Sepultura drummer (but following the ethos lofi Magic Crayon).
Lê Almeida did the cover art.

For now the single can be tasted (streaming and download) on bandcamp.
Soon it will be available in all streaming and download platforms worldwide.

The idea now is to release an album using the recordings of all these years, either an EP or a full length album, either digital or physical.
We're talking to DIY labels in Brazil and abroad, in order to release this new Magic Crayon's album.
